"Ginuwine" Elgin Lumpkin Gives Back
The super-talented multi-platinum R&B recording artist "Ginuwine" Elgin Lumpink has another side that all his fans should know about. He and his wife Tonya "Sole" Lumpkin runs a foundation called S.P.R.U.C.E. The group's mission is to help people that face mental and physical challenges, by helping them to cope with life's daily struggles so that they can lead normal lives. A Few years ago, Ginuwine himself faced tremendous challenges, including attempted suicide, and drug addiction, when his father committed suicide in 1999 and his mother succumbed to cancer the following year. more >>
Charity Hair and Fashion Show Welcomes Ginuwine to Gala
The newly established S.P.R.U.C.E. Foundation, of Kansas City, MO, will host a charity hair and fashion show gala June 17 at The Jones rooftop pool located in downtown Kansas City. "Arabian Nights" sponsored by the Aladdin Hotel, is the foundation's official unveiling party and will pioneer the celebration of the organization's citywide launch.
